Everyday I'm Shuffling

Today was a fun shoot with Banelly and Moises who celebrated turning 15. They had their party yesterday filled with dancing and delicious cake. I was able to photograph the young siblings having fun on the dance floor with their friends. Today I took them to Greektown to photograph their portraits.

Greektown is a historic neighborhood/commercial district in Detroit. The neighborhood is a popular restaurant and entertainment district, having many restaurants that serve authentic Greek cuisine. One of my favorite places to go is Pizza Papalis Taverna (although not Greek).

As the shoot progressed Moises became a natural in front of the camera!

I was able to also capture Banelly in a candid moment

I love all the lights and signs in this area, always very fun! Banelly and Moises were up for anything and as you can see didn’t mind being in the middle of the street or even jumping off things. As always, I had fun :D Hopefully you get a chance to visit this great Neighborhood in Detroit, sometime. If you do, fill me in on your experience!

Till next time, Keep it classy
