Here is a couple that I photographed in October. They had a lovely wedding. The ceremony was held at St. Anne’s Catholic Church. This the oldest church in Detroit founded in 1701. The reception was held at the Whitney. The David Whitney House (the Whitney) was built during the period of 1890-94 by the famous lumber baron David Whitney Jr., who was considered not only one of Detroit’s wealthiest personalities, but also one of Michigan’s wealthiest citizens. Fun fact: The house is estimated to cost $400,000 (approximately $10,500,000 in today’s economy). The reception was filled with great family moments and dancing. I photographed their ceremony and reception with the help of my friend and photographer Alesyn. It was a blast!
The Groom wore an amazing bow tie that went along with his Mario inspired handcuffs. The bride had a gorgeous bouquet that was filled with my favorite flower, Cali Lilies! Her dress was amazing as well. Such a great fit for her.
The couple was great to work with. We went to the riverfront in Detroit and photographed a few images there. My favorite has to be the cake topper inspired image.
Till next time folks!!! Keep it Classy.
